Your climate policy is a marketing tool

How might a financial advisor build a climate policy?

A few suggestions:

  • Only recommend financial products from institutions that don’t invest in fossil fuels like Bank Australia and Beyond Bank
  • Establish a no-kickbacks policy, and instead offer 100% unbiased advice supported by the narrow field of products you recommend
  • Explore ethical investment platforms like Super Obvious and Bloom Impact
  • Move all your digital tech (website etc) to local Australian green servers like Serversaurus

Maybe this is you already…

If so, 171 climate tech startups valued at over $4.2bn might like a chat – that’s just the Aussie startups, not to mention ~500 established and growing companies just on Climate Salad’s directory.

We acknowledge that we work on Wangal land of the wider Eora nation now known as Sydney. Wangal land sadly no longer inhabits any Wangal people.

We pay respect to the Elders of the past, as well as current and emerging Elders of surrounding lands and beyond. Let's all care for Wangal land, the Eora nation and Country.

For self-employed creatives, normal business traps are easy to fall into and overcomplicate things - but they’re totally avoidable when flying solo.
