As a result, I probably use it a lot less frequently than I otherwise would.
The word "sustainability" has been on a similar decline for me, which I suspect is mostly from seeing it used irresponsibly, and even overused.
When these words would naturally fit into a sentence, I try to catch myself and use something else instead. It's often possible, but not always.
I have a list of words and phrases I try to avoid, simply because there's just no oomph left in them anymore - I'd love to know what words come up in your world that are just overused, possibly even meaningless now.
