I wholeheartedly applaud any person or organisation taking steps that improve their climate impact.
So by definition, that has to include organisations that are carbon neutral, right?
I see two sides to it:
On one side, are organisations who have somewhat innocently bought into the (very well packaged) spin that says being carbon neutral actually reduces climate impact.
On the other, are the organisations who lean into the lack of public knowledge around how dodgy the carbon neutral thing can be, and just talk themselves up.
So am I against being carbon neutral? Are you?
Or are we just against companies refusing to be a little transparent...
