The Sydney Dance Company are one of a number of arts companies making huge changes in an effort to reduce their carbon emissions.

They’re looking at every angle to reduce their impact, both at home and especially while on tour.
It’s such a great example because in the article, it mentions a boatload of things they’re changing, many of which a lot of people wouldn’t bother with (like repairing socks!) because it probably just doesn’t seem like it’s worth the effort.
I’m guilty of that ✋ repairing socks seems like such a small impact thing, but a touring dance company goes through hundreds of socks in a single tour… So in one move, they’ve eliminated an entire item from their supply chain.
As the dancers say in the article, “it all counts”.
