On September 18th, I’ll be running a 2-3 hour workshop on Solo Selling – A low-pressure way to sell your services without cringe or manipulation.
There are no frameworks or playbooks, it’s not based on “Always Be Closing” or any of that high-pressure stuff we all secretly hate doing.
It’s a behind-the-curtains look at how I’ve personally managed and run sales in my one-person business for around a decade, ranging from when I sold creative services as a solo designer, to how I sell coaching and training as a solo mentor.
No secret sauce. No guarantees of you closing $1m in sales by dinnertime Thursday. No huge promises.
Just a tried, tested, likely imperfect but mostly proven approach that you’re welcome to listen in on, and steal what works.
It’s a new type of workshop for me – I haven’t done a behind-the-scenes thing before, so without that insight my guess is that the format will be a simple 2-parter – presentation first, followed by Q&A if there’s appetite for it.
Lurkers are more than welcome – no need to turn your camera on, reveal your real name or participate in any way, though you’re more than welcome to if that comes up (the “lurkers welcome” idea was stolen from a community I recently joined and I love it).
Details:
Anyone registered will get a recording, I won’t be sharing it publicly as I’m expecting some level of confidentiality to any questions that come up.
So come ask your questions, in a small and private group where again, you don’t need to turn your camera on or participate if that’s not your thing.
Doors open tomorrow ✌️
For self-employed creatives, normal business traps are easy to fall into and overcomplicate things - but they’re totally avoidable when flying solo.
