Bill Gates has a multi-billion dollar fund called Breakthrough Energy Ventures, that invests in clean energy projects.
They’ve just handed USD$44 million to a company that has automated much of the solar panel production process, from the acquisition of land using cloud-based software, to the production of solar panels with machines and robots.
