Snips from an ethical bank

You might have noticed I'm very pro-switching away from your shitty current bank, especially if it's one of the big 4 (CommBank, Westpac, NAB or ANZ).

I often share this list of ethical banks in Australia as a first stop to look for alternatives, but if you've never clicked on it, below are a few snippets from the website of one Australian ethical bank, Bank Australia, in case it piques your interest.

• We take action on the issues that matter to you, like climate. Our net zero by 2035 target is the most ambitious of any Australian bank.
• You get a say in where we invest your money and which issues we support through our Impact Fund.

Every bank will use your money to continue to make lots more money, but what one bank chooses to do with it varies enormously to another.
