The word plastic has become a dirty word for me, which is not entirely fair or correct.
Plastic has many intelligent use cases (plastic roads are actually better than asphalt in almost every way), but things like single use plastics used for packaging are purely for convenience and are a very poor, often damaging use case. Some plastic toys are toxic.
My brain is currently wired to react negatively to the word plastic, so when I drove past a store today called Koala Box that said plastic moving boxes, my first reaction was "yuk".
On visiting their website—I wouldn't exactly call them the greenest company on the planet—but the concept of reusable plastic moving boxes that you can rent, made some sense.
Not sticking up for plastic here... Just trying to keep an open mind.
