Pricing structures

How many different pricing structures can you think of?

  • By the hour: Common, simple, but very variable.
  • Flat price: Simple, likely leaves money on the table.
  • Value pricing: Hard, done well it leaves nothing on the table.
  • Tiered, incremental: Small, medium, and large options
  • Tiered, high anchor: As above, with a very high top-tier price that makes the other two seem like a bargain

Which one is the best?

It’s completely up to you – depends on what you offer, and may even come down to using different pricing structures for different offerings.

But if you feel stuck on one structure, it’s worth experimenting with at least one other.

Have you tried more than one of these?

We pay respect to the Elders of the past, as well as current and emerging Elders of surrounding lands and beyond. Let's all care for Wangal land, the Eora nation and Country.
