On planes, if there’s an emergency, you’re told to put your own mask on before helping kids or anyone around you.
If you try to help the person next to you first and you both pass out from lack of oxygen, that’s not super helpful.
If you focus on yourself first, then you can help your kids, the person next to them, and maybe even more people. Suddenly, you’re very helpful.
But what if the person next to you is someone like, really famous… Oprah, or Sir David Attenborough, or the Pope… and they’re struggling?
You put your own mask on first.
Let’s say we’re on a plane right now. The cabin loses pressure and the masks have come down.
Sitting next to you is Mother Nature… and she’s struggling.
You think “Oh man, she gives life to everything, and it’s up to me to help her”.
What do you do?
👉 Put your mask on and help her.
There are dozens, if not hundreds, of actions and initiatives you could take right now that would benefit lots of people, your business, the climate, and the world around you.
If that’s overwhelming, and you’re just not in a good place to deal with that right now, your priority is YOU.
If you’d like to talk through some of these challenges, I’ll be running 10 free 1-on-1’s in May and June, which will later be offered as paid consults.
Please reply if you’d be interested in one of the 10 slots, or if you’d just like some more info on them, and we’ll work out a time that suits both of us.
