Digital waste? Is there such a thing?
If you’ve ever paid money for digital advertising and had no results, you’ve got experience with digital waste.
It’s EXTREMELY common to see a company hire an ad agency, pay lots of money for Facebook ads, and… nothing.
If your offer is worded poorly, or not proven to be in demand, or priced where people don’t want to buy it, ad agencies won’t fix that. They create ads that send people to your offer, whether it’s a good one or not.
To avoid creating digital waste (not to mention wasting money) do the harder work to ensure your product is actually worth selling.
You might need to interview past clients, or show it to people who’ve never seen it before, or experiment with pricing.
When it can prove it’s worth, then amplify it with advertising.
For self-employed creatives, normal business traps are easy to fall into and overcomplicate things - but they’re totally avoidable when flying solo.
