I (now) follow a dude on LinkedIn called Vojtech Vosecky who shared his top 10 learnings from being a circular economist.

This one absolutely jumped off the screen at me:

It all starts with the design - 80% of the product's environmental impact is locked there.

It's a principle I appreciate when helping folks create new digital products or start new businesses.

An existing business needs to undo harmful practices, whereas a new one can design harm out from the start... undoing is not impossible, just trickier.
