Here’s the thing:
Having a transparent climate policy that you actually stick to is an awesome marketing tool.
This week I joined a climate group on Slack with over 10k people – mostly climate tech founders and business owners – and it’s story after story about how businesses get flooded with new customers once they double-down on climate action.
People like seeing action, and people really respond when a business doesn’t pull punches.
There’s going to be a point in time probably in the next decade where companies who are quietly slipping under the climate radar, suddenly become very loud with their inaction.
You can so easily avoid being one of those companies – open a new Google or Word Doc, and start drafting a climate policy this week.
