I stumbled across a climate news site that I admit, based on name alone, seemed to be something I’d be interested in.

The first article I read raised my eyebrows a smidge… The next made me go “wait a minute…”, then a scan of the other headlines made me realise I was actually looking at.

The site is called Net Zero Watch (sharing so you can draw your own conclusion)… At a glance, I took it to simply be another place for cool climate stories.

My take: it’s a place for folks against things like renewable energy to plant seeds of doubt in the minds of people who are on the fence.

So I wouldn’t call it greenwashing because it doesn’t hold back it’s opinion (although the name might be moderately missing).

I guess I just hadn’t been fully prepared for how intense the other side of the climate discussion would be.

This one’s just a heads-up really… If mine is a strong argument for climate solutions, it’s reasonable to expect there’ll be at least as many against.
