Big reports simplified for us normal folks

If you’ve heard of the IPCC report, you might have gathered that it’s filled with critical data about the actual state of the climate, and what’s truly needed to fix the situation.

You also probably gathered that it’s a behemoth – over 3600 pages written by 86 authors from 39 countries. Few outside of the climate space will ever read it. People deeply inside the climate space haven’t read the whole thing.

But many have read it… thankfully some of them are really, seriously good at distilling huge piles of reporty stuff into infographics.

This is the exceptional result, titled “The Science”.

The first of 4, this infographic brilliantly summarises the science behind every aspect of the climate as we know it.

The following 3 infographics will be titled The Impacts; Our Options; and Synthesis.

If you’ve got:

  • 10 minutes
  • Some coffee
  • A mild desire to understand the whole climate picture more clearly

Check out that infographic. Aside from the report itself, there probably isn’t a better resource anywhere on the planet right now, from more credible source data.

We acknowledge that we work on Wangal land of the wider Eora nation now known as Sydney. Wangal land sadly no longer inhabits any Wangal people.

We pay respect to the Elders of the past, as well as current and emerging Elders of surrounding lands and beyond. Let's all care for Wangal land, the Eora nation and Country.

For self-employed creatives, normal business traps are easy to fall into and overcomplicate things - but they’re totally avoidable when flying solo.
