…and why else?

Good challenge in response to yesterday’s These are my people email.

I shared a short list of reasons for why to create a climate policy – here are some more:

  • It’ll help you reduce costs by adopting truly climate conscious, non-wasteful practices
  • Attract an internal “niche” of environmentally conscious consumers within your existing market (the “these are my people” people)
  • Which will enhance your brand reputation
  • And provide access to a growing consumer segment actively seeking climate conscious products and services
  • Which creates positive word-of-mouth
  • And also attracts top talent

Here’s that copy-paste-able climate declaration template again.

We acknowledge that we work on Wangal land of the wider Eora nation now known as Sydney. Wangal land sadly no longer inhabits any Wangal people.

We pay respect to the Elders of the past, as well as current and emerging Elders of surrounding lands and beyond. Let's all care for Wangal land, the Eora nation and Country.

For self-employed creatives, normal business traps are easy to fall into and overcomplicate things - but they’re totally avoidable when flying solo.
