Project drawdown aims to help the planet reach “drawdown” – the point where harmful gases in the atmosphere stop increasing and start decreasing. It lists 82 peer-reviewed, commercially viable climate solutions for helping to do that.
More solutions have been teased for some time now, and they’ve just been announced.
From their latest newsletter:
Next week we’ll be launching 11 new drawdown solutions along with an update of our existing 82 solutions. Five of the new solutions quantify ocean-related carbon sinks and ways of avoiding emissions. Three highlight the potential to reduce methane emissions. And three highlight emissions reductions from the industry sector.
Keep an eye on that link – we’ll talk about some of it here too I’m sure.
