My favourite electric car company to watch at the moment, Polestar (from Sweden), have just announced their Polestar 3, likely to release late this year for delivery next year.
It’s a sports SUV claiming around 600kms of range, but little else will be known about the car until the release.
Polestar themselves are big on sustainability. One of their aims is to build zero emissions cars (meaning, the process the car goes through to be built, not just it’s power consumption).
Funding for several thousand charging stations have also been announced for use along the Aus east coast.
And dozens of car makers either have, or will be bringing, an electric car or several into their range, including a number of lesser known marques. Meaning there will be a lot of options from little hatchbacks to SUVs at a range of price points.
The auto industry will take time to shift from fossils to electrics, but it’s already well on the way.
