That’s the number of emails sitting in my various Gmail accounts right now (probably a few more by the time you get to the end of this email).
I read the important stuff—work emails, bills, family, and some not-important stuff that interests me—and ignore almost everything else.
Last night my wife and sister both admitted to pretty much the same thing. Wife said “how much power is being used just storing emails no one intends on reading!?”.
Thousands of emails x maybe millions of people – probably a lot of power! “The internet” is a huge consumer of power globally.
How brave are you to select-all and just press delete on your inbox?
Are you thinking “what if something important’s in there” or are you now thinking “that might be the motivation I needed to sort my email”.
Would love to know if you do it 😁
