In the spirit of walking the walk, I’m adding a handful of products and services in 2025 that will help you create your first or next productised offer.
This year has been fun – everything you’ve seen in this newsletter has culminated into an extremely simple framework that helps you create new fixed-price products, build simple systems to run and sell them, then stack offers on top of them to build out a menu of products and services.
It’s all aimed at the self-employed creative who wants to remain solo for the foreseeable future (it could work for agencies, but it’s tailored very specifically to soloists).
Meaning next week, I’m going to trial a group program that aims to teach the chunkiest bits of my 12 week program in just 4 weeks, and aims to help you add a service to your menu of offerings before Christmas.
The topics we cover include:
For me, it took all of my focus and effort to get my first productised services created. I’m a lifelong sufferer of Shiny Object Syndrome™, so it’s hard to explain just how hard it really was.
But in forcing myself to ignore the distraction of Yet Another Great Idea™, I kind of stumbled on a system for seeing one single idea through to it’s completion.
When you leverage shortcuts you already have – which you may not even realise you have – things become far simpler.
I’m calling it the One Shiny Object framework, for hopefully obvious reasons – it’s a way to focus in on one very strong part of your business, and pull a few levers to expand it, without affecting your existing work. Cool stuff.
I’ll have more details in a few hours ✌️
For self-employed creatives, normal business traps are easy to fall into and overcomplicate things - but they’re totally avoidable when flying solo.
