What would you say?

A bit of fun – I’d love to know your answer at the end 🙂

Imagine this conversation between yourself and your best friend:

Friend: “I wonder if you can help me out – I want to make some big investments, as I’ve seen they can make really good returns.”

You: “Sounds interesting, how much you thinking of investing?”

F: “Every dollar… but actually, I’d like to use your money.”

Y: “Y’what?”

F: “I’d like to use your money, but I swear it’d be zero risk to you. Can I explain how it’d work?”

Y: “Um, intrigue me…”

F: “Ok, here’s how we’d do it:

• You give me all of your salary, like every single dollar
• I invest it into things that reliably make bucketloads of money
• Your money is always your money – anytime you need it, I’ll get it back to you right away
• When the money from those investments comes in, I just keep that

Y: “Riiight. What are you investing in exactly?”

F: “Erf, I can’t say…”

Y: “And how much do I make?”

F: “Well, no, you don’t make anything… you just get your money back. I only keep the profit from the investments, all I need is the money to start. You’d really be helping me out… what do you think?”
