If you’re a paid member on LinkedIn, there are some tools available to you that look interesting, one is that you can now ‘showcase the services you offer’.

Problem is, LinkedIn assumes everyone on the whole planet operates on an hourly rate – no fixed price or other pricing options:

I was one of many millions of people who billed hourly but being a one-person show, that got more difficult to manage, monthly invoicing wore me down, and sending surprise invoices to lovely clients who didn’t enjoy those kinds of surprises every month just felt a bit icky.
