Trees in utes

I’m pretty sure now is the only time of year I see entire trees hanging out the back of cars like this:

I’m no Grinch, but I do like trees… so relinking to this post from last year about London Christmas Tree Rental (based in the UK), who hire out real Christmas trees, collect them after Christmas, care for them in their “forest”, then hire them out again next Christmas.

You can even rehire the same tree you had last year.

That’s quite a lovely thing, especially when you consider the UK alone say they send more than 7 million trees to landfill each year…! 😳

There’s no similar company in Aus that I can find, although there are plenty of companies that hire out artificial trees for commercial settings and things like that.

Anyway – not sure if you know someone who owns a forest of Christmas trees but if so, I think what the London hire company have is a really amazingly cool idea.
