Some stats that blew my mind:
Just 9.5% of the money in Australian Superannuation funds ($754 billion) is all that’s needed to fund Australia’s transition to 100% renewable energy by 2050.
It would actually transition us to 100% renewables by 2030 for stationary power (that’s grid-connected power, so we’d still be using petrol for vehicles), but it’d snowball from there.
By 2035 we’d see:
☀️ 41% of transport, and 50% of industry powered by renewables by 2035.
⚡A rapid transition to electric vehicles.
👋 Au revoir coal mines.
🎉 100% decarbonisation by 2050.

What will it take?
9.5% of us moving our superannuation to funds that invest in renewables.
