Hooray for options

(Trigger warning: alcohol).

Sitting enjoying a quiet beer tonight got me thinking about an article I’d seen a while back about a brewery doing smart things with it’s waste water.

Turns out, lots of breweries in Australia are making huge strides with sustainable practices.

From intelligent water management, to bulk-buying renewable energy infrastructure, to creating buyback programmes for their cans and bottles, to bringing malt production on-site which removes the reliance on supplier transportation entirely, there’s a stack going on, and it’s all really cool.

One of only a few industries I’ve come across that have several climate-conscious buying options!

We acknowledge that we work on Wangal land of the wider Eora nation now known as Sydney. Wangal land sadly no longer inhabits any Wangal people.

We pay respect to the Elders of the past, as well as current and emerging Elders of surrounding lands and beyond. Let's all care for Wangal land, the Eora nation and Country.
