Honesty and integrity

I hope you consider honesty and integrity important values in your company, because they are important.

My question to you: Are these the actual values you’ve chosen to list as your core values?

If you’re not sure (many folks in leadership can’t remember their organisation’s core values), check your website.

Do you list honesty and/or integrity?

If so, you’re like 98%* of the world’s organisations. They’re genuinely good values to uphold, but they’re also kinda just table stakes.

It’s like saying “I don’t kick people” or “I obey the law”. That’s awesome, but it’s not brag-worthy. It’s just what’s expected.

So if you’re website is basically saying you don’t kick people, I challenge you to dig deeper on what the real core values of your organisation are.
