If you’re a company director in Australia, there’s a week left to apply for your mandatory Director ID.
Fines for not obtaining an ID start at $13k – there’s very little info available for this, which is surprising considering the weight of the fines.
Details on the business structures this applies to are pretty light – looks like sole traders might not need to do it but don’t take my word. Best check below to be sure.
