Allbirds, the ethical shoe company, have an awesome sustainability section on their website, where they list everything they’re currently working on climate-wise, under a heading of “initiatives”.
There’s a small nuance to this, but the word initiatives has a humbleness to it that implies things that are being worked on constantly – that’s not to say that other words often used for these sections, like “sustainability” or “our imact” don’t imply constant improvement, but it feels more implicit in a word like initiatives.
Doesn’t mean that’s strictly true, it’s just the first impression I get from one word.
Anyway, Allbirds have a lot of climate-smart initiatives which they’re also pretty transparent about. Read them all here.
