Since 2022, I’ve written and sent around 900 daily emails (or you know, almost daily) on the topic of running a solo creative business, as well as some adjacent topics.
Which has allowed me to bed-in a pretty firm view on what that kind of business can look like:
Ideas for those emails come from so many sources:
And the awesome thing is they all sit together, as one body of work.
Definitely not saying I’ve produced 900 pieces of solid gold π not even close!
But taking 900 shot attempts, you’re bound to bucket a few.
And those have lead to clarity in my own processes, my own values, my own approaches, and the development of a solid framework that now guides the programs I guide others through.
Writing (almost) daily is an amazing way to clear the clutter in your head, and find the interesting perspectives lurking in the back of your brain that make your approaches uniquely yours.
If you’re keen to try this out but are filled with dread, I’m running a workshop in the coming weeks to help folks get started with daily writing…
Actually, it’ll probably be more like a permission slip to show up imperfectly rather than a “writing course”.
Reply and let me know you’re interested.
