☀️ [30DC] Day 30 » Wrap & reset (and hello)

Today is technically Day 30 of the 30-day challenge.

If you’re like me and life kicked your rump this past week, maybe you’re hovering somewhere around Day 22 or so 🤪

Either way, this is your friendly reminder that building something meaningful doesn’t require perfection. Life + work is a gorgeous mess, and sometimes we slip on mess. The trick is to keep coming back.

To wrap this up for ‘Challenge’ folks:

You legend. Whether you followed along every day or just dipped in and out, I hope the challenge helped you focus on one shiny idea worth finishing.

There were two final actions:

  • Send a follow-up to anyone you reached out to directly, and then;
  • A reminder to revisit your offer document (from Day 14) and polish it with what-you-now-know.

Which will lead you to a very solid version #1 offer document you can use for feedback, selling, or as a draft for a landing page.

I’d love to see how it’s coming along – please share what you have along with any questions, even if it’s not complete.

Back to regular programming from tomorrow 👍

For the new folks who just joined (a few, thanks to a mini shoutout in the ConvertKit/Kit newsletter):

You’ve joined this particular party on the last song, but it’s all good – the classic themes get regular airtime here.

The challenge was all about helping self-employed creatives pluck one idea from the many shiny objects that distract us daily, turn it into a sellable offer, and get it in front of people without overthinking it.

I’d love to know what product you’re hoping to build next – let me know and I’ll share links to get you to the next step.

You’re in good company here.

See you tomorrow ✌️

For self-employed creatives, normal business traps are easy to fall into and overcomplicate things - but they’re totally avoidable when flying solo.
